What is WiFi?

Wi-Fi (short for "Wireless Fidelity") is a term used to describe a type of wireless network that can be used to provide broadband internet access across a wide area.

Most Laptops and many handheld devices come equipped with hardware that enables them to access the internet over a Wi-Fi network.
